Our Uniform Policy

At Silver Lining School of the Arts we believe dancers are able to better focus and as a result improve, when uniforms are enforced during weekly class times. Uniforms enable the instructors to see a clean slate when making corrections. They are able to check hip alignment, turn-out, and correct muscle use. Hair being properly secured is also important as it helps with balance, spotting, and keeps the distraction of hair in the face to a minimum.

Having a uniform policy in place also helps instill discipline in young dancers.
